How do I change the company name shown on my invoices?

Here is how to request a change to the company name that appears on your invoices.

Company name changes can be processed in different ways depending on whether the new company name belongs to the same legal entity as the existing company name, or a different legal entity.

How it works

To request a company name change on your invoices, please contact our Customer Invoicing Support Team  (accounts@rightmove.co.uk) with the details of the requested change.

The process will then be reviewed to determine whether the new company name belongs to:

The same legal entity

If the new company name belongs to the same legal entity as the existing company name:
  • The change can be processed without signed paperwork.
  • The processing team will be in touch, if further information is needed.
  • The request will be reviewed and updated once the necessary checks have been completed.
  • Once verified, your new company name will appear on future invoices.

A different legal entity

If the new company name belongs to a different legal entity:
  • Signed documentation will be required before the change can be made.
  • The required paperwork will be sent by your account manager. You may also need to complete a new DD mandate, if applicable.
  • If you have an Overseas membership, you will receive a link from RMG Credit Control, to save a payment method within Stripe.
  • Once signed and sent back, it will be reviewed and validated before any updates are processed.
  • The change cannot be completed until all required documentation has been received and approved.

What you should do

  1. Contact the Customer Invoicing Support Team (accounts@rightmove.co.uk) with your request.
  2. Provide your current company name and the new company name you would like shown on invoices.
  3. Wait for confirmation of whether supporting documentation is required.
  4. If requested, provide the signed paperwork.
  5. Once approved, the company name update will be processed and will show on future invoices.

If you experience an error

You may experience delays or issues if:
  • The new company name has not been provided correctly.
  • The requested company name belongs to a different legal entity and supporting documentation has not been supplied.
  • Submitted paperwork is incomplete or cannot be validated.

What to check

  • Confirm the current company name and new company name are accurate.
  • Ensure any requested documentation has been signed and returned.
  • Check that all required information has been included in your request.
