There are a few different reasons why we send properties out in the automatic 7 day email alerts.

Property reductions

If a property is reduced by 2% or more, the property will be sent out in Rightmove’s instant alert emails – notifying the keenest buyers or tenants of the new price.

A sale fall through

Following a marketing break

For a sales property to be sent out in the instant alerts and appear as new, the marketing break (period of time the property has been removed from site) must be 14 weeks or more. If the property meets this time-frame, our system will pick this up and automatically relist it as new.

For a lettings property to be sent out in the instant alerts and appear as new, the marketing break must be 2 weeks or more.
