Rightmove Customer FAQ

Have a question about Rightmove?

A sold/tenanted property hasn't been removed from Rightmove

When a property completes in a sale or becomes tenanted, it is the Estate Agents responsibility to remove the property listing.

To investigate sold or tenanted properties and be able to take appropriate action, the Data Quality Team need sufficient evidence in the form of one of the below:

  • HM Land Registry or Registers of Scotland data
  • The property has been marketed on Rightmove as Sold STC/Under Offer for more than 6 months
  • The property has been marketed on Rightmove as Let Agreed for more than 6 weeks
  • Evidence of being involved in the chain

On the occasion that the criteria listed above is not available, we encourage the homeowner to get in touch directly providing proof of address documentation and confirmation the property is no longer on the market.

You can raise example properties by sending the Rightmove property link along with your supporting evidence outlined above to our dedicated Data Quality Team for further investigation at [email protected].
