What is Online Agent Valuation?

Online Agent Valuation (OAV) is a valuation product for Consumers to request an agent to provide a free remote valuation of their home by the end of the next working day.


This is a sales only product.

Where to access the Online Agent Valuation tool.

1. Log in to Rightmove Plus.

2. If you are a dual branch, make sure you're on the sales side of the branch. 

3. Find the menu on the left-hand side. 

4. Select the 'Online Agent Valuation' tab. 


To access the OAV tool, you must have the correct permissions set up. If you can't see the tab in your Rightmove Plus account, this suggests that may not have the permission to access this.

How does Online Agent Valuation work?

When a homeowner submits their request, you'll receive an email containing the vendors details, address, when the request expires, and a link which takes you to the lead in Rightmove Plus.


In the request, you'll have the property details ( bedrooms, bathrooms, garden size, condition, photos, etc). 


In most circumstances, you’ll receive in-depth details such as the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, garden size, property condition, recent renovations, and photos, allowing you to provide an estimated valuation range.  


Your estimate is shown on a branded page, including your personalised message, a link to your Premium Price Guide, and information about your agency, along with contact details so the vendor can reach out for next steps.  


Once your valuation is submitted, the vendor’s contact details become available to you in Rightmove Plus, and the vendor is encouraged to get in touch or request an in-person appraisal.  


You are prompted to respond with an estimated valuation range by the next working weekday. 


How to update the Online Agent Valuation alert email?

To get your Online Agent Valuation email updated, you can send a request to the Customer Support team using the email customersupport@rightmove.co.uk
