In certain circumstances, an active listing may be uploaded as a new listing rather than being updated.
This is permitted when there has been a significant change to the offering that materially alters what is being marketed. Examples include:
- Removal of a portion of the land included in the original listing
- Addition of land or property assets
- Substantial changes to the property's characteristics or development potential
- Significant changes that result in a revised asking price
For example, if part of the land has been removed from the original offering and the asking price has changed accordingly, the amended property can be uploaded as a new listing. This is because the property being marketed is materially different from the original listing.
Where changes are minor and do not fundamentally alter the offering, the existing listing should be updated rather than creating a new listing.
